2.54mm Pitch Triple Row Female Header Connector 3x40P Through Hole Gold Flash PA6T

Board designs that run out of edge space rarely need a bigger enclosure; they need a socket that stacks more circuits into the same footprint. This 2.54mm pitch triple row female header places three parallel rows of contacts across a single 7.62mm width, so a 120 position interface occupies the board area that a conventional dual row socket would need for only 80 positions. The footprint stays inside the familiar 2.54mm grid, which means existing male pin headers, jumper shims and ribbon assemblies still mate without redesign of the mating side.

The insulator is moulded from PA6T, a high temperature polyamide that survives lead free reflow at 260 C and keeps its dimensions after repeated thermal cycling. Each phosphor bronze contact carries a gold flash over a nickel underplate, holding contact resistance below 20 milliohms across the service life of the assembly. A closed two point contact spring grips every 0.64mm square post firmly, which matters on triple row parts because the middle row is the hardest to inspect after soldering.

Triple row headers appear wherever a control board has to hand off a wide parallel bus without growing in length. Typical installations include industrial PLC backplanes that route 96 or 120 signals between an I O card and a mother board, LED display driver panels that need dense row drivers, instrument front ends that carry multiple analogue channels, and test fixtures where a single insertion must contact an entire probe array at once. Lengths from 3 x 2 up to 3 x 40 positions are assembled from a common contact strip, so tooling cost is not passed on to small orders. Each header is counted into anti-static shielding bags in lots of 1000 pieces, with a desiccant sachet and a moisture indicator. Bags are then packed into export-grade corrugated cartons carrying the CNJWY neutral label, and the pin field is protected by a moulded foam insert so that no contact rests against the carton wall. Carton gross weight stays under 15 kg, which keeps manual handling inside international air freight limits, while pallet loads for sea freight are stretch wrapped and strapped for humidity control. Custom barcode labels, own-brand cartons and drop tested inner packaging are available for distribution customers.
